Mr Mamunur Rashid

Biography

Md. Mamunur Rashid is a PhD candidate with the SA Water Centre for Water Management and Reuse (CWMR) within the School of Natural and Built Environments (NBE) at the University of South Australia (UniSA). He completed his Bachelor degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet in Bangladesh. He obtained his Master in Environmental Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2008. He has worked in the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) where he has been involved in climate change and disaster management projects. Before starting as a PhD candidate at UniSA, he was working as a Senior Lecturer in the Civil Engineering department of Leading University, Sylhet in Bangladesh. His awards and scholarships include a Goyder Institute PhD Supplement (2012), University President Scholarship (UPS) from UniSA (2011), School of Natural and Built Environments Scholarship from UniSA (2011), University Merit Scholarship throughout his Bachelor study period.
