Ms Megan Sebben

Megan Sebben is undertaking a PhD in hydrogeology at the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (NCGRT), School of the Environment, Flinders University. Megan graduated in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science. Her Honours research examined the current status of fully integrated, surface-subsurface hydrological model testing, and offered guidance for improving model evaluations. During her PhD Megan will investigate relationships between salt accumulation and vegetation-groundwater interactions in semi-arid environments. Until recently, most ecohydrological models have neglected these interactions. This research will utilise a combination of numerical modelling and field investigation to provide insight into salinity effects on vegetation-groundwater dynamics.
