Innovation and Knowledge Transfer Seminar: Aquifer Storage & Recovery


The Smart Water Fund in Melbourne will be hosting an Innovation and Knowledge Transfer Seminar that will focus on Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) on Thursday, 16 May 2013 in the Telstra Conference Centre in Melbourne.

The seminar will feature three presentations, covering both the technical and regulatory aspects of ASR and will include:

  • ASR: Solution or Burden, East Gippsland's Experience

    Presented by: Simon Robertson, Manager - Water Resources, East Gippsland Water
  • Implementing Aquifer Storage and Recovery to Optimise Wastewater Re-use along a Rapidly Expanding Urban Fringe

    Presented by: Attila Gaal, Senior Hydrogeologist - Water Innovation, City West Water
  • Regulating Managed Aquifer Recharge

    Presented by: Craig Parker, General Manager - Groundwater & Rivers, Southern Rural Water
