National Science Week will be celebrated in August with the theme "Food for our Future: Science Feeding the World"

State Grants: The closing date for grants (up to $2,500) has been extended to next Friday 23 May, so there is still time to submit an application to support any event you might be thinking of running in or around National Science Week.

Unsung Hero Awards: The closing date for nominations is Friday 13 June.

Brochure of Events: Each year a state brochure is produced featuring the events that will be taking place in South Australia. This brochure is distributed widely and is an excellent way of advertising any event that you have happening in or around Science Week. There is no cost for you to have an entry in this brochure. We encourage you to enter any event, lecture, activity, workshop and so forth that is happening in or around the dates of Science Week in August.

To ensure your event goes in the brochure, you will need to register the event on the National Science Week web site by the end of June.

Science Alive!: 8 - 10 August 2014 at the Wayville Showgrounds
