The team at the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth (CLLMM) Research Centre have been actively connecting with community members this month and research teams have been making important project progress in April.

This month’s newsletter is out now, and highlights include:

  • New project Ocean Beach Ecology and Threats is underway
  • Researcher Spotlight featuring – Associate Professor Craig Styan, University of South Australia and Dr Tom Prowse, University of Adelaide
  • A glance into the Conserving Waterbird populations of the CLLMM under climate change project
  • Dr Nick Whiterod panellist in community-organised Toxic Surf – South Coast Algal Bloom Forum
  • Lokeri Project team members from the River Lakes and Coorong Action Group showcased their work at the Wooden Boat Festival at Goolwa
  • Return of the Kondolars (whales) to the region
  • Sea Country – Yarlawa Ruwi showing at the CLLMM Research Centre
