CLLMM Research Centre News – June 2025

The CLLMM Research Centre’s dedicated project team of 150 members is working together across 29 projects to investigate the impacts of climate change in the region. June’s activities showcased the Research Centre’s model of practice and the board scope of the Science Program.

Recent highlights and activities include:

  • Cultural Connections – Cultural awareness training including on-Country experiences around Langhorne Creek
  • Science by the Shore – 25 July
    Have your say! The survey on how scientific engagement benefits community and management is now open.
  • Waterbird Scoping project has concluded, and the report is now available
  • Honours student investigates partial migration of Black Bream
  • Dr Brianna Le Busque is shaping the future and working on the Horizon Scanning and Ocean Beach Ecology and Threats project
  • Prof Sabine Dittmann and Assoc Prof Jason Nicol wade into Blue and Teal Carbon.
