Decision Support using the Ecohydrological Conceptual Model and Impact Pathways for the Braemar, Stuart Shelf, and Northern Eyre region

Join us for a webinar on The Ecohydrological Conceptual Model and Impact Pathway Diagram Project, where we explore the potential future impacts of mining and large-scale infrastructure development in the Braemar, Stuart Shelf, and Northern Eyre region.
During this session, we’ll showcase the pictorial models developed to represent regional geology, hydrology, and ecology, as well as activities related to open-pit, underground, and in situ mining. These models helped to create impact pathway diagrams that capture the various ways mining and large infrastructure development can influence water in the landscape.

The webinar will feature an introduction to the project by Peter Baker, Director, Water Science and Monitoring, Department for Environment and Water, followed by an overview of the project outcomes by project leader Luk Peeters, CSIRO. We’ll conclude with brief presentations from potential users of the project outcomes.

The presentations will be recorded, and a Q&A session with the project team will follow.
