World Water Day 2023

Description

This World Water Day 2023 is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.
Right now, we are seriously off-track to meet Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030. Billions of people and countless schools, businesses, healthcare centres, farms and factories don’t have the safe water and toilets they need. To accelerate change, we need more action.

Read more about World Water Day, grab an activation kit to help create a more sustainable and equitable water future, or join us for the World Water Day run as we bring attention to the world’s water crisis.

Coinciding with WWD this year, the UN will be holding their first Water Conference in 50 years from 22 to 24 March 2023 in New York where they a Water Action Agenda will be introduced. The Agenda will outline how everyone can take action to change the way they use or consume water and accelerate the change to improved sustainability and inclusivity for all. You can find out more about the conference here or watch along on UN web TV as it happens.
