Description

The South Australian Branch of the Australian Coastal Society (ACS) is organising a Coastal Forum to be held at Marion Bay, Yorke Peninsula

The Australian Coastal Society (SA) would like to invite you to participate in this event, co-sponsored by the Yorke Peninsula Council, ACS, Coast Protection Board, Northern and Yorke Landscape Board, and the Beach and Dune Systems (BEADS) Laboratory at Flinders University.

The Forum theme is “Building a Sustainable Coastal Future”. We are living in a time of significant current and future challenges, where climate change and other human-driven impacts are likely to impact coastal towns, infrastructure, and future development. It is time for us to start building a vision of what a sustainable future will look like.

The Forum includes talks and presentations that cover all areas of coastal research and management.
