We are delighted to welcome Fiona Adamson and Dr Hamideh Nouri to the Goyder Institute for Water Research team.
Fiona has joined us on secondment from Institute partner Flinders University, where she has been providing administrative and strategic support for the past twelve years in her role as Centre Manager of the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training. She has actively cultivated a strong network of contacts over this time and has a wealth of project administration and management experience. She is excited to broaden her focus and work with the Goyder team to manage and oversee new projects.
Hamideh is on secondment from her current role as Senior Project Manager at Institute partner, Department for Environment and Water. She joined the Goyder Institute to strengthen her network and work on multi-lateral & multi-disciplinary water-focused projects close to her interest, allowing her to further apply her international experiences in project management and stakeholder engagement within South Australia.
Hamideh has strong collaborations with several universities worldwide, has supervised tens of PhD & MSc students, mentored young professionals and published over 100 articles and reports. She has worked with the United Nations (UN), European Union and U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for several years and the public and private sectors in different countries, led many high-performing teams and managed hundreds of national and international water-related projects. She has a background in water engineering and management and hands-on experience in integrated water resources management, water-food security nexus, water policy & governance, urban water and climate change adaptation & mitigation.
We’re looking forward to working with Fiona and Hamideh and are grateful for the skills and experience they bring to our team.
