The CLLMM Research Centre’s science program is now generating early results across its project portfolio, with one of the first updates highlighting the rediscovery of Lokeri in Lake Alexandrina. The Muscles in the Mud citizen science team surveyed 34 sites for the first time since 1979, responding to long‑held concerns that the species had not recovered since the Millennium Drought. Their February newsletter shares what the team found and provides updates on several other activities, including community events, Basin Plan Review discussions, and profiles celebrating women in science.
