The Goyder Institute was pleased to be represented at the recent One Basin CRC event in Renmark, with Director Alec Rolston joining researchers, industry representatives, government stakeholders and community members from across the Murray-Darling Basin.
The event highlighted the growing collaboration underpinning the One Basin CRC and provided an opportunity to share insights on the challenges and opportunities facing regional communities, water management, agriculture and environmental sustainability across the Basin.
As a partner in the One Basin CRC initiative, the Goyder Institute is supporting efforts to bring together research, industry and community expertise to deliver practical outcomes for Basin communities. The Institute is also playing a key role in administratively hosting the CRC’s Hub in Loxton, South Australia.
Dr Rolston said the event showcased the value of collaboration in addressing complex water and environmental challenges and demonstrated the strong commitment of Basin communities to creating a more sustainable and resilient future.
The Goyder Institute looks forward to continuing its involvement in the One Basin CRC and working with partners to translate research into tangible benefits for communities across the Basin.
