Since its inception in 2018, The Australian’s Research Magazine has been showcasing Australia’s top research, naming the leading performers across 250 fields of study in eight key disciplines. Using big-data techniques to analyse publicly available data about researchers and their work offers detailed insights into the top individual researchers, universities, and research institutions.
Now in its seventh year, the Research Magazine has become a highly anticipated and respected resource within the research community. Inclusion in these annual lists is a source of pride for researchers and institutions, further amplifying the recognition of groundbreaking work that might otherwise remain confined to niche circles.
This year’s edition continues to spotlight not only the leaders in each field, but also emerging talent, research institutions showing the fastest growth, and the global impact of Australian research.
