Ms Rebecca Quin has over 15 years of experience in environmental science, policy, and research partnerships. She is the Manager of the Environmental Science and Research Partnerships Unit within the Department for Environment and Water. In this role she provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across key science disciplines, including marine and freshwater science, climate adaptation, soil science, ecosystem modelling, and environmental evaluation and reporting.
Ms Quin plays a key role in delivering scientific and technical analyses and advice to support evidence-based decision making, policy development, and agency priorities. She has contributed extensively to the delivery of monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and research programs that have informed Murray-Darling Basin policy and management. She works closely with research institutions, government agencies, and industry to foster strategic partnerships that advance environmental science and management.
