The Goyder Institute for Water Research has highlighted the importance of delivering collaborative science projects in its 2025 Annual Report. The past year saw the completion of some exceptional projects that are informing critical water-related decisions; as well as the ongoing delivery of our flagship project: the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth Research Centre.
Institute Director, Dr Alec Rolston said “The Goyder Institute for Water Research has continued to deliver a diverse and impactful research portfolio, addressing complex issues across water security, climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and community outcomes. The Institute’s partners have all agreed in principle to continue the Institute into a 4th term from 1 July 2026, and I look forward to working closely with all of our partners and collaborators to continue to develop and deliver impactful research to inform water-related decision making. I would particularly like to extend my thanks to all of the Institute’s staff for their continued outstanding work and for making the Institute and its projects so successful.”
