Flinders University – Supporting the next chapter

The Goyder Institute for Water Research entered an exciting fourth term on 1 July 2026, continuing its partnership for a further three years. For this new term, Flinders University will be the Institute’s administrative host, providing the Institute with its contracting, HR, and accommodation services. The Institute will continue to deliver strong outcomes for its partners and collaborators, building on the foundations established over the years.

Dr Alec Rolston, Director of the Goyder Institute, said, “The Goyder Institute is entering an exciting new phase as we begin our fourth term, and we look forward to working with Flinders University, who will be supporting the Institute over the coming three years. I would like to sincerely thank Adelaide University (and previously the University of Adelaide) for their valued support to the Institute through its hosting role over the past six years. The Institute team looks forward to continuing to work closely with all our partners in the coming term.”

As part of these arrangements, the Institute has relocated its city office to Flinders University at Level 7, Festival Plaza, Adelaide, while our CLLMM Research Centre will continue to operate at Barrage Road, Goolwa.
