The CLLMM Research Centre Summer Series of Science will continue in 2025 with three exciting events scheduled.

Spirit of the Coorong Science Tour 17 Jan 2025 – Seats are exhausted due to popular demand!
Guests will hear from our researchers on the Spirit of the Coorong. enjoying a breakfast and tour of the beautiful Coorong.

A stop at Barkers Knoll to stretch your legs and learn more on ‘ground’ about projects happening in the CLLMM region.

Local Water and Sustainable Practices Q & A Panel – 24 Jan 2025 – 5.30pm – 7pm

We welcome a panel of guests from the community, First Nations and management for their perspectives on how, why and who is caring for our water. Discussions will focus on sustainable practices, long term plans and actions.

Panel members include: Ngarrindjeri Elder, Uncle Derek Gollan, longstanding connected community member with Clayton Bay and the region, Gloria Jones and South Australian Water Ambassador, Karlene Maywald.
Drinks and nibbles provided.

Community Science Showcase – 7 Feb 2025 – 4pm – 7pm

Family event. Join us at the Community Science Showcase to learn more about how to get involved in some of the Research Centre’s and local community projects. Learn ‘How to be a Community Scientist’ plus kids activities, food and fun! Register now and join us in family fun!
