South Australian 2025 State Infrastructure Strategy Released

Recently, the South Australian 20-Year State Infrastructure Strategy 2025 was released, setting out the needs, strategic goals, and priorities for infrastructure in South Australia for the next 20 years. The strategy highlights the vital role of water in driving economic growth, development and long-term sustainability in the State. As demand for climate-resilient water sources increases, the Strategy identifies water as a key enabler for emerging industries and regional development.

At the Goyder Institute, we continue to lead research on sustainable and innovative water solutions, contributing to a future of economic prosperity, environmental sustainability, and community resilience. Our recent and historical projects continue to help inform decision making for future development within South Australia, including the (G-Flows Project), the Ecohydrological Conceptual Modelling Project, the Northern Waters Project, the Changes in High-Intensity Rainfall Events Project and the Future Urban Water Management Options Project.

The Institute looks forward to continuing to develop the partnerships, collaborations and knowledge to ensure a sustainable water future.
